If it’s not already in his case, he can cut whatever you might want. Ross will educate you on steaks you might not know of, how to make lesser cuts go farther, learn new recipes, etc. Go for a visit and get inspired! Ross is a master of charcuterie, and he works with Cane Creek Farm, producer of some of the best pastured pork around.
Savor a sunset out on the patio at The Eddy Pub, while enjoying a burger from our farm. Located inside the old dye house of the cotton mill, The Eddy is a beautiful space, overlooking the Haw River. There are often specials featuring our steaks or specialty cuts, deliciously made by chef, Isaiah Allen.
What used to be a gas station in the heart of Saxapahaw has now become a destination people flock to from all over the state. This is mostly because chef, Jeff Barney, makes incredible food. Check out the short ribs, you won’t be disappointed!

Bulk Beef Buying – we sell quarter, half, and whole cows direct to the public. Go in with extended family or a group of friends in your neighborhood and share a side of beef. The cost will be much less, and there are many options as far as cuts, amounts of ground beef, etc. Contact us for more information – (336) 214-5279.
We sell our whole cows for $5.50/lb hanging weight, which means the weight of the carcass. They are processed, packaged in individual cuts and frozen at the processor but will be available for pick up at our farm. Please be aware that amounts will vary and bulk beef is not available at all times. Below is an example of the break down:

This heifer weighed 1080 live weight and hung 596 on the rail. The total cost for the whole cow would be $3,278.
In this example, a 1/2 cow would be 298 lbs and $1788.00.
In a bulk beef purchase there are also soup bones, marrow bones, and organ meats – kidneys, liver, heart and tongue. Many customers do not take these, so they are not included in the list above. But every cow has them, so if you’d like them they are included in your purchase! We are happy to give you recipe ideas to utilize these incredibly nutritious items!!
